There’s a lot of interest in huskydoodles (Siberian husky/poodle mix), sometimes also called huskypoos. Take a gander at these unique pups.
So, you thinks you gots the moves? No, dude, it’s the poodle that’s gots the moves.
A famous Japanese cooking show. A hot bowl of ramen. A poodle. What more could you ask for?
Q. How do I find a reputable poodle breeder, who doesn’t run a backyard operation or a puppy mill?
A. You are a smart human indeed. Especially when dealing with poodles, you’ll want to find a breeder who genetically tests the animals to rule out common afflictions like Addison’s, glaucoma or allergies. You’ll also want one who shows their dogs, meaning the parents have good conformation. In short, you’re seeking a breeder who’s in good standing with the Poodle Club of America.

Poodle brutality? Maybe, maybe not. And maybe you think you’ve seen some wacky things done to a poodle. Well, now you have.
Q. Poodles are hypoallergenic. True or false?
A. False. The poodle’s coat isn’t prone to shedding, that’s true (which is why professional grooming is a must for these dogs). But it’s dander and saliva that the allergic have trouble with, not the fur.
Still, the allergen load might be reduced with a poodle, since the dander’s not traveling on a flurry of shed fur. By the way, don’t overwash your pooch — the skin needs to retain its natural oils, or it’ll produce even more dander.
